In partnership with Hayes Roth and PS212, the Catholic Medical Mission Board turned to us to help create a compelling brand story and a new visual and verbal brand identity.

Embracing Values of the Catholic Faith

Working as a consultant with HA Roth Consulting and PS212, out team was tasked with rejuvenating CMMB’s mission, vision, and values as part of a brand platform overhaul. To accomplish this, we delved into CMMB’s Catholic roots, conducted interviews with staff, volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and board members from around the globe, and applied their findings. The resulting brand positioning captures CMMB’s rich history while emphasizing its vital mission to support women, children, and their communities facing the greatest risks.

The Madonna and Child

Using our newly developed brand platform as a guide, the HARC/PS212 team worked to revamp CMMB’s visual identity. We transformed the previous simple, type-based system into a more dynamic and modern design that perfectly conveys the organization’s core values and compelling brand narrative with elegance, dignity, and purpose. The result of our brand identity work is an abstract rendition of the Madonna and Child – a wholesome symbol of the motherly love the Virgin Mary had for Jesus.
